Jeff Bezos has recently offloaded approximately $2.08 billion in Amazon stock, as disclosed in a financial filing.
The sales commenced on Friday and extended through Monday, with a total of 11,997,698 shares being divested.
This activity is in accordance with a predetermined trading plan that Bezos established in November, as outlined in Amazon's 2023 annual filing.
The plan outlines Bezos' intention to sell 50 million Amazon shares by January 31, 2025.
Formerly the CEO of Amazon until 2021, Bezos had previously liquidated a substantial amount of Amazon shares last week, selling nearly 12 million shares valued at over $2 billion, according to securities filings.
This marked Bezos' first sale of Amazon stock since May 2021.
In November of the same year, he also gifted approximately $240 million worth of Amazon shares.
