A fatal traffic crash in Aspley on April 25 is under investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit.
Emergency services were called to Gympie Road at around 7:11pm after a Nissan Pulsar sedan reportedly veered off the roadway and collided with a power pole.
The driver, a 75-year-old man from Carseldine, received treatment at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
