Michael Voss Backed to Lead Carlton into 2026 AFL Season
Carlton coach Michael Voss has received full backing to continue in his role through to the 2026 AFL season, following a unanimous endorsement from the Blues board.
The decision was made during a board meeting at Princes Park on Wednesday, with incoming chief executive Graham Wright - who formally steps into the role next week - presenting a recommendation to retain Voss as senior coach.
Carlton president Rob Priestley confirmed the move in a statement, highlighting the club’s commitment to measured and strategic decision-making.
“Following Round 16, we made it clear we would use the remaining games to make calm, rational and fully informed decisions for the future of our football club,” Priestley said.
“The first of those decisions was regarding our senior coach. After Graham presented his recommendation to the board last night, it was unanimously endorsed that Michael Voss will continue as senior coach into next season.”
