Police have charged a man and a woman in connection with a break and enter incident at a motor inn in South Toowoomba on July 18.

At around 7.30pm, the pair allegedly forced entry into a James Street business by damaging the front door. Once inside, a small amount of cash was reportedly stolen before the duo fled the scene in a grey 2008 Hyundai Getz, which had been reported stolen earlier that day from a Darmstadt Court address in Kearneys Spring.

A short time later, officers located the stolen vehicle and the two suspects at a Sheehan Street address in South Toowoomba, where they were taken into custody.
