Police are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred near Toowoomba yesterday, July 30. Shortly before 5pm, a white Toyota LandCruiser travelling south on Toowoomba Karara Road at Wyreema collided with a silver Toyota Aurion heading north.
Woman Dies in Tragic Head-On Crash Near Toowoomba
Police are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred near Toowoomba yesterday, July 30.
Shortly before 5pm, a white Toyota LandCruiser travelling south on Toowoomba Karara Road at Wyreema collided with a silver Toyota Aurion heading north.
The 57-year-old Wyreema woman driving the Aurion tragically died at the scene.
The LandCruiser's driver, a 37-year-old woman from Felton, and three young passengers-aged three, four, and six-were taken to Toowoomba Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing its investigation and is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash to contact police.
