Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery occurred in South Toowoomba early this morning, August 4. At approximately 6am, a woman was exiting her vehicle outside a business on Jennings Street when she was approached by an unknown man.

Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery occurred in South Toowoomba early this morning, August 4.
At approximately 6am, a woman was exiting her vehicle outside a business on Jennings Street when she was approached by an unknown man. After a brief conversation, the man produced a knife and demanded the keys to her vehicle.
The offender then fled the scene in the woman's car - a white 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander with Queensland registration LBG584.
The victim, a 41-year-old woman from Harristown, was not physically harmed during the incident.
The suspect is described as having a slim build, wearing light-coloured clothing, and with his face covered.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage, or saw anything suspicious in the Jennings Street area around that time to contact authorities immediately.
