A 17-year-old boy from Salisbury has been charged following an alleged serious assault in Clayfield on November 29.
Police were called to reports of a large disturbance at a property on Oriel Road about 9:30pm. When officers arrived, they dispersed a group of juveniles, but a second disturbance soon erupted nearby on Brooke Street.
Authorities allege the 17-year-old and a 16-year-old boy from Eaton Hills became involved in a physical altercation during the incident. The younger teen is believed to have sustained a significant back wound, and the alleged offender fled before police reached the scene.
The injured boy was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
