Optus customers across Brisbane and south-east Queensland are experiencing significant NBN disruptions, with reports of outages continuing throughout Wednesday.
The telco confirmed it is investigating the issue but has not detailed the full extent of the interruption.
"We are aware of an issue impacting NBN services for some customers across Brisbane and certain parts of Queensland," an Optus spokesperson said. "We sincerely apologise for the disruption and thank customers for their patience while our teams work as quickly as possible to restore services."
The outage was first reported early on Wednesday morning and has persisted into the afternoon. Optus has not provided an estimated timeframe for when services will be fully restored.
