Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Samford Valley following a collision late Sunday afternoon. Emergency services were called to Mount O'Reilly Road at the intersection of Castlewood Court about 5.30pm on January 12 after a motorcycle and a Toyota HiAce van collided.

Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Samford Valley following a collision late Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Mount O'Reilly Road at the intersection of Castlewood Court about 5.30pm on January 12 after a motorcycle and a Toyota HiAce van collided.
The motorcycle rider, a 49-year-old man, suffered critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
