Israel releases 300 Palestinian prisoners

Israel and Hamas completed their sixth exchange of hostages and prisoners on Saturday after their ceasefire survived its latest crisis. The Palestinian militant group was going to delay the exchange because Israel wasn't letting the agreed-upon humanitarian aid into the devastated Gaza Strip.

Starmer visits Auschwitz and vows to fight antisemitism

WARSAW, Poland (AP) - U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Friday visited the site of Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz, voicing his "sheer horror" at what he saw and vowing that he would fight the growing antisemitism which is causing fears to rise among Jews including in Britain.

Time to create 'armed forces of Europe'

MUNICH (AP) - Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Saturday the time has come for the creation of an "armed forces of Europe” because the U.S. may no longer be counted on to support Europe. Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hit back at Americans for meddling in his country’s election after U.S. Vice President JD Vance scolded European leaders.
