Russian ballistic strike kills 10 after Ukraine hosts US Patriot manufacturer

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – A Russian attack Friday on a site near Kyiv that was hosting a defense industry event killed at least 10 people and wounded nearly 100 others, Ukrainian government and industry officials said. The ballistic missile strike came a day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Kyiv with senior representatives of Raytheon.

Woman dies after being struck on Pacific Motorway

A woman has died following a tragic traffic incident on the Pacific Motorway at Loganholme on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the northbound lanes near Exit 30 about 3.40pm after reports of a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
