New grants to help Queensland exporters crack global markets
The Queensland Government has launched a new grants initiative aimed at helping Queensland businesses expand into international markets and secure new export contracts.
Applications are now open for the Market Accelerator Program, a targeted $750,000 fund designed to support small and medium-sized exporters as they move quickly to finalise deals, diversify markets and convert global opportunities into jobs and investment at home.
Eligible businesses can access matched funding of up to $30,000 to support practical export-focused activities, including overseas market entry travel, product testing and redesign, regulatory and accreditation requirements, professional advice, finance and legal services, and intellectual property protection.
The program forms part of the Crisafulli Government's broader strategy to strengthen Queensland's economy by backing exporters with practical, outcome-focused support that delivers real commercial results.
Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates said supporting exporters was central to growing jobs and investment across the state.
"We are backing Queensland exporters to secure deals, create jobs and grow with confidence," Minister Bates said.
"This program is focused on outcomes, helping businesses move quickly into new markets and turn opportunity into growth."
She said the Market Accelerator Program marked a clear shift toward targeted support that helps businesses diversify markets and close deals.
Applications close at 1pm on 4 March 2026.
