Police are investigating the death of a woman at a property in Buccan in the early hours of Monday, January 12. Around 1am, a 46-year-old woman was reported missing from the Brisbane suburb of Ashgrove. She was last seen in The Gap about 7pm on Saturday, January 10.
Missing Brisbane Woman Found Deceased at Buccan Home
Police are investigating the death of a woman at a property in Buccan in the early hours of Monday, January 12.
Around 1am, a 46-year-old woman was reported missing from the Brisbane suburb of Ashgrove. She was last seen in The Gap about 7pm on Saturday, January 10.
Following initial inquiries, officers attended a property on Waterford Tamborine Road at Buccan to conduct a welfare check at approximately 2.30am.
At the address, police located the body of a woman who had sustained injuries. No other people were present at the property at the time.
The male occupant of the residence is known to the woman.
A crime scene was established, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
