Ukrainian Drones Destroy Wildberries Warehouse in Russia

Ukrainian drones have struck another facility belonging to Russia's major online retailer Wildberries, with authorities reporting that a large logistics warehouse in the Tambov region was completely destroyed in the attack.

The overnight strike triggered a massive fire at the Wildberries complex in the city of Kotovsk. Regional authorities said the blaze consumed the warehouse, which covered about 100,000 square metres. Two people were reportedly injured in the latest attack.

The strike is the latest in a growing campaign against Wildberries logistics infrastructure across Russia. Ukrainian drones have repeatedly targeted the company's warehouses since July, with numerous facilities damaged or destroyed.

A Wildberries depot in the Tambov region had previously been struck on July 18, when seven people were killed, according to reports.

The repeated attacks have caused significant disruption to Russia's rapidly expanding e-commerce sector. Wildberries, one of the country's largest online retailers, operates an extensive network of warehouses and distribution centres across Russia.

Ukraine has also expanded its drone campaign to other major Russian online retailers, including Ozon, targeting logistics facilities in several regions. The attacks are part of Kyiv's broader effort to disrupt infrastructure and economic activity supporting Russia's war effort.

Russian authorities have increasingly expressed concern about the vulnerability of commercial and industrial infrastructure to Ukrainian long-range drone strikes.

The latest Wildberries attack comes as Ukraine continues to carry out increasingly deep strikes inside Russian territory, while Russia maintains its own extensive missile and drone campaign against Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
