At least one person has been killed and 10 others injured in a series of Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry and the state-run National News Agency (NNA).

The ministry's emergency operations centre said one person was killed on Monday in the village of ar-Rihan, in the Jezzine district.

Nine other people were injured in the al-Maslakh neighbourhood of Nabatieh city. Those wounded included two children and three women, the ministry said.

A further person was injured in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

The latest casualties come amid three consecutive days of Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon.

Lebanon's Health Ministry said the attacks over the three-day period have killed at least 27 people and injured 69 others.

The strikes have added to tensions along Lebanon's southern border, where Israeli military operations and attacks have continued to cause casualties and damage in several areas.
